With Covid-19 still very active, we’ve had to make the tough decision to remain closed this 2020-2021 school year. However, it’s not all bad news. During this time, we’ve been busy doing renovations and adding a whole new play area! Stay tuned for re-opening details.
After many years, we’ve sold the last of our goats in an effort to focus more on our smaller animals and doing a large garden expansion for 2021.
Facebook: Our Lil’ Homesteaders ‘Group’ is being shut down and switched over to a ‘Page’. The link will be shared on our social media platforms in January 2021. Same content…just easier to navigate for our families and friends.
What can I say? Homeschooling is one of our greatest passions and it has exploded into a budding business. We make printables, how-to videos, reviews and so much more! Many of our printables are available for download right here with more being posted soon.
I never imagined being a mother….let alone a mama to three beautiful children (and possibly more to come). But motherhood has been such a challenging blessing for me. From breastfeeding, dealing with PTSD, and natural parenting, to having a preemie in the NNICU I’ve seen some sh*t. Of course Val has been by my side through it all, and I couldn’t have done it without him. You’ll see how we handle our ups and downs and I hope we can serve as a guiding light for anyone who needs it.
Since both Val and I grew up in a homestead setting, it was only natural for us to continue this tradition for our own children. We’ve been working on turning our little property into a homestead and we’ve decided to share that adventure with you! Watch how it is growing, changing, and in some ways staying the same. As of right now, we are continuing to work on our little cabin, put in additional garden beds, and expand the natural play area.
To keep things environmentally conscious, we use as natural a product as we can find. When those little ones lick the floor (yes, that does happen) we want it clean and non-toxic. Feel free to ask us what we use on your next visit!
We are a growing family of five (six in April 2021). Over the past few years, we have been turning our home into a homestead and homeschooling our children in an eclectic, natural manner. You can watch our adventures on our YouTube channel!
